The Start of a New Season

Hello racers and parents. The Alcan Nancy Greene Ski League at Mt. Baldy will begin on January 6th, 2008. The cost this year is $250 and includes the Pontiac Torrent raffle ticket book (a fifty dollar value if you sell all the tickets). The season will consist of 12 Sundays for three hours 9am to 12pm. We are planning for more training this year with more terrain on Mt Baldy at our disposal with the installation of the new Sugarlump quad chair. We are also planning more varied training including group discussions, Husky Snow Stars and World Cup videos as well as an introductory level of video training. Emphasis will still be on "fun"damentals with games and activities that foster a love for the sport. All parents are encouraged to dedicate some time to the program, whether helping to organize and execute races or helping manage a group of kids on a training day. We could have as many as five coaches this year so we can handle a large group of kids. Let's get as many signed up as possible and build the program for the future!
